If you are not using a tracking check or savings account, you can choose to close it. It is not possible to delete a Chase account online. Now there are these two primary methods you can close a Chase bank account. You can proceed to the nearest Chase branch or you can call customer service if there is no branch around you. Note that if you have money in your account, you can choose to withdraw the full amount or transfer it elsewhere.

First
Find the checkbook account checks, which will serve you for your account and routing numbers. You will also need to have identification as a driving license.
Second
Visit the closest Chase bank location. Bring your credit card, checkbook, or driver’s license for verification purposes. A bank representative can help you with your existing Closing Chase account.
Three
Ask the Chase customer representative to close your account. The representative will ask you a few security questions, such as your name, social security number, date of birth, and address to verify your account. Consult your checkbook or previous statements to answer questions related to the account such as account number. Note that Chase customer representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
